Attempted Murder in Buenavista del Norte
The Civil Guard in Buenavista del Norte detained a 38 year old man on Tuesday for attempted murder, after he stabbed a colleague in the back with a pair of garden pruning shears and a knife (pictured). The attack too place at a finca (smallholding) in the district, during an argument at work, causing the 42 year old victim serious injury. The attacker used so much force that it caused damages to the victim's lung. Two others, including the boss of the company, also had to be attended for minor injuries, on their arms or hands. Given the circumstances in which the violent attack was carried out, the detained has been charged with attempted murder.
