Five New Helicopters for the Canary Islands

ABC report that five modern, large capacity helicopters come into service today in the Canary Islands to cover any emergencies that could occur in the archipelago. The newly contracted technical and human services will be operative 24 hours of the day, 365 days of the year to cover search and rescue, extinction of forest fires, attend to emergencies at sea and the evacuation of the sick and accident victims, amongst other duties.
