Fifty-Percent More Sand for Las Teresitas
Yesterday, French architect Dominique Perrault and mayor of Santa Cruz, Miguel Zerolo, officially opened works on the Las Teresitas beach that is just north of Tenerife's capital. The projected 22 months of works aim to improve public use of the beach and its conservation and will have 50% more surface made up of sand, brought in directly from the Sahara.
