Cool lottery idea aims for the hot money
A HUDDERSFIELD charity is launching a new lottery - based on the weather. Supporters of the Laura Crane Trust will win if their numbers match the temperature in world cities.
The winning numbers in the daily draw are obtained by taking the last digit of the temperature in Fahrenheit in Corfu, Istanbul, Tenerife, Innsbruck, Edinburgh and Stockholm.
Proceeds will go towards research into cancer among young people aged 15 to 25.
