Unexpected Holiday Expenditure
Entry prices to tourist attractions were most keenly felt in the Canary Islands. Over half (54 per cent) of the visitors who reported a nasty shock when purchasing entry tickets were holidaying in these year-round resorts.
A day at Tenerife?s ?must see? attraction Loro Parque, for example, would set a family of four back 79 (around £55).
