Village Holiday Homes as Popular as Resort Properties in Tenerife

Considering this is a press release, it gives a very truthful and balanced account of the "double-edged sword" of foreign investment into the islands. I sincerely applaud the author.

The very income that can improve standards of living for islanders, also threatens the lifestyle that underpins their culture and means they can no longer afford to live in their own villages.
