English Fans

Puerto Rican singer, Chayanne, who gives a concert at the Recinto Ferial in Santa Cruz tonight, arrived on the island from a date in Benidorm yesterday. The concert is part of his 17 city "Tour Sincero 2004", which terminates on September 19 in Seville.

The Tenerife date is something special. "Tenerife has the most numerous and most active fan club members, so of course Chayanne always expects the best of Tenerife", said promotor Mauricio Trillo.

As always when he arrives on the island, a group of fans was waiting at the entrance of the Hotel Mencey, to get autographs and be photographed with the singer. Among them was a woman, of English origin, who lives in Tenerife. Inés has even brought her 21 year old son, Agustín, from England for the concert. Yesterday, the they had the opportunity to get close to their idol for the first time.
